Opening

The regular meeting of the AMERICAN LEGION POST 1919 at 1905 hrs.  08 April 2025 by 1st Vice Commander Gary Totty.

Reminder emails will be going out next week to alert passed due membership.

Dues have increased to $55. The 10-year option is still available. It is a Department program and the cost is $400 for 2025. This is still your best option. If you are a 10-year member, you will still get a renewal note from National. You are paid up, just see membership chair with questions/concerns. National has a 3-year program at $55 each, $165 total. Membership year begins 01 July 2025. Renewal notices will be coming soon.

    • VFW Auxiliary is having an Easter Party, 13 Apr 1300-1500 in Banquet A.
    • Six-Week Comedy Boot camp: Sundays, 1300-1600 in Day Room.
      • Two more sessions left. Graduation will be on Sunday, 4 May 1400 in Banquet A. Come out and support them!

Flag Committee

  • Will reach out to area Goodwill stores to see if can get their donated flags.
  • Help with cleaning and replacing area business flags.

    • Thank you VFW Auxiliary for food.
    • Thank you Rodney Davis for the use of his inflatable screen.
    • Thank you Tom Jordan for his projector and sound system.
      • Looking for ideas to make next year bigger and better.

Dues have increased to $55. The 10-year option is still available. It is a Department program and the cost is $400 for 2025. This is still your best option. If you are a 10-year member, you will still get a renewal note from National. You are paid up, just see membership chair with questions/concerns. National has a 3-year program at $55 each, $165 total.
